Privacy

Race Photos is a small race-photo shop. You do not need an account. We keep only what is needed to show you the photos and deliver the ones you buy.

Selfies

If you choose “Find me with a selfie,” we use that photo once to look for your face in the race. We do not save the selfie, and we do not use it for anything else. When the search is done, it is discarded.

Faces in race photos

Photos from the race are scanned for bib numbers and faces so you can find yourself. Face measurements from those race photos are stored for that search. They are not sold, and they are not used to identify you outside this shop.

Orders

When you pay, we keep your email address, the photos you bought, and the payment record. The private link on your order page is how you download the full-size files. Previews are watermarked. Originals stay private until you buy them.

Asking for a photo to be removed

Ask the photographer who runs this shop to delete a photo of you. They can remove it, and the face data that came from it, from the site.

Rules for face recognition and biometric data are different in every state. The photographer is responsible for the notices and permissions those laws require, including any sign at the race.
